Emery "Em" Deluca is a werewolf without a pack, and he has become such by choice.
*Like most werewolves, Em ages slowly in comparison to a human -- though he looks about thirty years old, his actual age is about twice that.

Em has three different shapes -- a wolf form, a human form, and a hybrid or "were" form. The were form is a bipedal creature with wolf-like features -- much taller and heavier than Em in human form. The wolf form is indistinguishable from a normal wolf, in all ways. The human form sometimes has unusually sharp teeth, and if a person has preternaturally honed senses, they may pick up on other tells like scent.
